Built by a passionate team of policy nerds, software developers, and advocates. We believe you can't engage with a government you don't understand. And you can't hold elected officials accountable if you don't know who they are or what they do.

So we decided to do something about it. GovScorecard is a database of every elected official at every level of government. Often this data is hard to access or not consistent across our different governing bodies. GovScorecard provides an universal template for understanding what your elected officials do alongwith a searchable bill database.

And for elected officials or groups who work in advocacy we provide an advanced option for legislative planning and community work. Our tools are meant to be the most user friendly presentation of this data while allowing for deep analysis and powerful collaboration. Not always an easy feat. But we know now more than ever we need better tools and engagement when it comes to our government.
